Our comprehensive Novice to Cat C+E training course is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to obtain your Cat C+E licence and excel in your driving career. With expert instructors and state-of-the-art facilities, we provide practical and theory-based training that's tailored to your individual needs.

The table below provides an indication of what you can expect during this 16-week driver training course, however, it's important to note that the overview may differ on a case-by-case basis.

Eligibility for this course

To be eligible for this course, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Aged 19 or over

  • Eligible to work in the UK

  • Lived in UK for 3 years

  • Hold a car (Cat B) Licence and have at least 12 months driving experience

Delegates will also have independent learning to complete to prepare for their theory tests, as well as attending an HGV medical in their local area where necessary.

Week Description
1-6 Onboarding and online independent learning using e-learning platform
7-8 Theory test completion, including theory multiple choice test, hazard perception test, and case study
9-13 Practical driver training completed
14-16 Interview/professional discussion of upskill with employer and progression into new role
