Course Summary
This course is designed to give delegates information on various aspects of general safety and manual handling, including regulatory compliance for vehicle wheels and tyres, vehicle walk round checks to ensure that both driver and employer stay within the law, and risk assessment planning as a crucial step in any moving and handling task.
In addition, delegates will have the opportunity to rethink the way in which they lift and carry items at work and explore the safer ways in which to do so.
Course Prerequisites
Candidates must bring a valid driving licence for CPC registration.
Candidates must hold one of the following licence categories: C1, D1, C, D, C+E
Please Note: Regulations specify that ‘a range of different subjects should be covered over the driver’s 35 hours of training’.
