Course Summary
All Candidates must attend GTG Training for a half day Induction and must complete the following 9 units to achieve the qualification:
- Workplace Health & Safety
- Safely Transport Passengers
- Professional Customer Service
- Maintain the safety of the Licensed Vehicle
- Mobility and Wheelchair Assistance (Practical Unit)
- Plan Routes and Fares
- Transport Luggage and Parcels
- Safely Transport School Age Children
- The Licensing Regulations (Scotland)
A log in will be provided at induction for the online self study materials to enable candidates to prepare for their exams. Candidates must attend GTG Training for all exams & practical assessment. Please contact GTG Sales Team on 0141 950 5600 for further details.
Course Prerequisites
A good understanding of the English Language both written and spoken. Candidates will be over the age of 18 and have had their driving licence for a minimum of 1 year. Local licensing conditions may apply.

Who Should Attend?
Any current or aspiring taxi or private hire drivers who wish to apply for or currently hold a licence issued by the City of Glasgow Council. Candidates will be given user access to the e-learning system to enable self study in their own time.
