Course Summary

This LGV (HGV Class 2) course is designed to train selected personnel to drive large goods vehicles in the C Category (ridged goods vehicle over 7.5 tonnes). Candidates can be assessed prior to training to determine the length of training required; the minimum course duration will be 5 days with a DVSA driving test on the final day. this is with 2 candidates to one instructor ratio.

 

Course Prerequisites

Candidates must hold a valid driving licence with provisional C entitlement, and must have passed both the multiple choice and hazard perception theory tests.

 

 

Additional Information

Please bring along your Photocard Driving Licence & also a printed proof or mobile screenshot of your provisional Cat C in date entitlement as well as:

  • Passed LGV Theory Test Certificate (Module 1)
  • Passed LGV Perception Test Certificate (module 1b)
  • Passed LGV Case Study Test Certificate (Module 2) (if Module 4 is being sat)

Please note that mobile phones must be switched off during training.

 

Please bring your own high viz vest.
