The SVQ in Plant Operations at SCQF Level 5 (SVQ Level 2) allows candidates to demonstrate their competence in operating various items of plant equipment in line with their job role.
This qualification enables candidates progress from their initial trained plant operator card (red card) through to competent plant operator card (blue card).

This qualification covers areas such as:
- General workplace health, safety and welfare.
- Conforming to productive work practices.
- Preparing and operating plant and equipment.
