GTG is delighted to have been added to the government’s approved Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP). Recent reforms have seen major innovations in the way apprenticeships are funded and how apprentices are trained and assessed. These changes are designed to encourage more employers to take on apprentices in order to meet the government target of 3 million apprentices in training by 2020. They also ensure that the training meets the highest standards across the board. With more than 40 years’ experience in training, GTG is perfectly placed to help apprentices progress their careers, and will continue to maintain high standards as a RoATP provider.
What is the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers?
Organisations included on the RoATP are government approved to deliver apprenticeship training based on the new Apprenticeship Standards. This assures employers that the training providers have the right capability, capacity and resources to deliver excellence in apprenticeship training. There are initially 1708 training providers eligible to provide apprenticeship training.
What does this mean for GTG?
As a member of RoATP, GTG will continue to provide outstanding apprenticeship training at their three locations in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Wolverhampton, helping both apprentices and employers reach their potential. While Scotland and England take different approaches to apprenticeships, we have specialist knowledge of each system and our team will be able to provide up-to-date local knowledge for every business.
