Course Summary

This course is designed to introduce/refresh candidates on how to safely wash, valet, prepare a vehicle for service and courtesy car customers. The course on day one will cover all the Health and Safety requirements, including C.O.S.H.H to safely use all valet materials and equipment, along with Arnold Clarks expected procedures. This is to standardize operation throughout the entire group.

Additional Information

All candidates MUST bring a full-face shield, Kevlar gloves & goggles when attending as practical use in using the pressure washer and chemicals will be shown.

Delegates are advised to wear their Arnold Clark uniform, safety boots and all-weather jackets and trousers (whilst using the pressure washer).

Key Benefits

Upon completion of training candidates will have full Health & Safety knowledge in relation to HSE legislations and their workplace procedures. They will receive all relevant information on how to use, store, and deal with the chemicals used in their day to day working environment, including what to do in the event of a spillage or accident. Practical assessments will be carried out on day two along with a test to ensure candidates have taken on board all information required of them to safely perform their role.

Who Should Attend?

Aftersales Valet staff, anyone who may work in the valet bay on a temporary basis.

Course Certification

A GTG Certificate will be provided upon completion of the course.

Two copies must be retained. One for the Branch, and one for the candidate.
