Course Summary
The experienced reach training course is designed to teach operators to safely operate lift trucks and satisfy training recommendations as per the HSE Approved Code of Practice.
The course include:
- Introduction to lift truck and pre-use checks.
- Manoeuvring laden/unladen lift truck in open and confined spaces.
- Use of industrial racking and cages.
- Stacking exercises at high, eye and low level.
- Multiple Choice associated knowledge theory test.
- Pre-use checks test.
- Operational ability test
Course Prerequisites
- Candidates must have an email address
- Candidates must be of school leaving age.
- Candidates should be suitably fit and free from disabilities that might pose a threat to their own health and safety or the health and safety of others who might be affected by them operating lift trucks.
Additional Information
PPE requirements: Safety footwear is advised and full length trousers.

Please note that mobile phones must be switched off during training.

Who Should Attend?
Any individual with prior experience of operating a reach truck, who does not hold a current certificate and wishes to obtain a high standard of operating ability and gain an accredited certificate of competence.

Each candidate will receive an RTITB e-Card and PDF certificate (certificate cost of £16.50 will be added at checkout).
