Course Summary
Telescopic handler (or telehandler) lift trucks are widely used in agriculture and other industries that require high lifting. The single telescopic boom and various possible attachments offer both power and flexibility at heights that other lift trucks cannot reach.
This Novice operator course is designed to teach new entrants to drive lift trucks and to gain an operator's certificate as required by the Code of Practice.
NPORS, the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme, is one of the UKs leading Accreditation and Registration Bodies, working across the Construction, Industrial, Utilities, Warehousing and Distribution, Agricultural, Ports and Marine sectors.
Course Prerequisites
Candidates must be school leaving age or above, and must be able to supply their NI number for registration purposes.
