Course Summary

Rough Terrain lift trucks have greater power and manoeuvrability than other lift trucks, as they are used for outdoor construction and other difficult terrain. Operators must therefore learn how to deal with heavy loads moving over uneven surfaces in all weathers.

This operator course is designed to allow candidates with experience to gain an operator's certificate as required by the Code of Practice.

NPORS, the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme, is one of the UKs leading Accreditation and Registration Bodies, working across the Construction, Industrial, Utilities, Warehousing and Distribution, Agricultural, Ports and Marine sectors.


Course Prerequisites

Candidates must be school leaving age or above, and must be able to supply their NI number for registration purposes.
