Course Summary
Current MOT testers must now undertake a minimum of 3 hours’ annual training to keep up to date with best practice methods. To maintain their professional status, all testers must complete an MOT annual assessment, based on this DVSA specification.
At GTG, we offer an e-learning package that allows MOT testers to complete both their MOT annual training and assessment.
This course is designed for existing Light Vehicle (Classes 3, 4, 5 and 7) MOT nominated testers who wish to complete the DVSA MOT annual training and annual assessment.

Must be a current MOT Tester

** PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR MOT CARD, AND YOUR PREVIOUS USERNAME AND PASSWORD **
Please bring photo I.D with you to this course, please take it with you to any exams on the duration of this course and present it to the invigilator.
Failure to complete the annual assessment within the training year will result in the tester being suspended from carrying out MOT Testing.
To lift the suspension the tester will have to:
- Pass the current years CPD assessment
- Complete a DVSA Demonstration Test
- Submit a recent DBS / Disclosure Scotland application
