This 1-day course is designed to provide delegates with an introduction to the knowledge of safe working practices, the dangers surrounding it and the precautions required to avoid potential injuries/accidents when working with vehicles that are equipped with ADAS systems. The content of this qualification has been designed to give the delegates the knowledge required to work safely around vehicles containing ADAS technology. It contains one mandatory unit covering 4 criteria : 1.The types of ADAS systems and sensors available and Health, Safety and legal requirements 2.The basic interaction between ADAS systems associated with vehicle powertrain, steering and braking systems. 3.The potential impact on the correct operation of vehicles fitted with ADAS systems by inappropriate actions of individuals. 4.The appropriate action to take should damage be caused to an ADAS system or components. |
Course Prerequisites
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification and learners are not expected to have any prior knowledge or experience.
