The aim of this course is to ensure that the delegates are competent to operate equipment containing abrasive wheels and a Stihl saw.

- Be able to meet the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 requirements for operating Abrasive Wheels/Stihl Saw
- Be able to state the duties and responsibilities under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and identify any hazards associated with abrasive wheels/Stihl saw
- Understand the importance of safe working practices and identify fault-finding and reporting procedures
- Carry out practical and theoretical exercises in the safe use of abrasives wheels/Stihl saws
