"GTG currently deliver our driver CPC training which we are delighted with, I was contacted and asked if I was interested in putting any of my staff through an apprenticeship scheme to gain their HGV licence and a accreditation in logistics. As I was interested I done it myself even at the ripe old age of 47. I am in contact with my trainer Chris at GTG and we are currently putting four operatives through this great apprenticeship with a company who supply thorough training at your branch and at what time meets your business needs.
This lets us as a business operate and also get to up skill my staff that will benefit all in their career path as an HGV driver whilst still being able to carry out their daily duties. I would and have recommended this scheme and GTG who have been outstanding, everything has been done by Chris and his team and look forward to putting more staff on this apprenticeship scheme in the near future."

"2020 started well with news from my Employer that I would be enrolled in an Adult apprenticeship which on successful completion would include lessons and a test to upgrade my current licence from LGV2 to LGV1.
I was soon introduced to the instructor, Neil from Glasgow Training Group and the training commenced.
Whether you're an experienced driver or just starting out, the module content will cover and explain everything about the role from collecting your keys at the start of a shift to your last delivery of the day.
Unfortunately Covid-19 had an impact and did slow progress down, but all credit to the GTG Team : Neil kept in touch and when all was safe to continue with the new measures, the training commenced.
So despite the virus, the lockdowns, the social restrictions - the team at GTG worked around the problems and the pitfalls and delivered their training resulting in me passing my LGV1.
I would recommend GTG to any Employer or Employee and would encourage you to contact them about any training needs and can't thank them enough for getting me through my program."
