This spring, we’re opening a purpose-built construction training site in Linwood, located just five minutes from the M8 motorway on the outskirts of Glasgow.
The training site has been designed to provide a safe and structured learning experience where you can learn to operate a variety of construction machinery, including 360 excavators, forward tipping dumpers and more.

What construction courses will GTG Linwood offer?
Excavator training
We offer two excavator training courses, each designed to teach delegates how to safely and effectively operate 180- and 360-degree excavators in a construction environment, including how to:
- Safely operate the machinery.
- Identify potential hazards.
- Perform practical tasks including digging and trenching.
Forward Tipping Dumper training
Our Forward Tipping Dumper course gives delegates the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to safely operate a forward tipping dumper in a construction environment, including how to:
- Manoeuvre on uneven terrain
- Safely operate the dumper
- Performs checks on the machinery
