GTG Glasgow was proud to support this summer's Commonwealth Games, providing facilities for volunteer fleet drivers and a base for visitors throughout the event.
It's not the first time GTG has been involved. During the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, the biggest-ever multi-sport event to take place in the city, our facilities and staff helped support the event in a similar way. Now, more than a decade later, our teams demonstrated the same level of professionalism, hospitality and commitment that have become synonymous with GTG.

Feedback from Commonwealth Games volunteers based at the Glasgow site has been hugely positive. Volunteer Fleet Driver Helen Drummond took the time to write to GTG following the Games to express appreciation for the support received throughout the event: "I wanted to email you to say how impressed I was with the GTG staff whilst I was based at your GTG Glasgow site as a volunteer fleet driver over the course of the Commonwealth Games.
“The reception area and front of house area for CG drivers to use were so well maintained, equipped and professional in its appearance.
"It really added to my volunteering experience. It is a real credit to the GTG organisation."
But it wasn’t just Helen who felt supported by the GTG Glasgow staff, as more volunteers wanted to express their gratitude to the incredible support they received from GTG:
"A huge thank you to our fabulous hosts, Tracey, Maria, Nancy and Sunny. From the moment we arrived, nothing was ever too much trouble. Your kindness, hospitality and willingness to help made such a difference and were truly appreciated.
"Thank you all for making us feel so welcome and for everything you did throughout our stay. It really was appreciated."
This feedback reflects the incredible efforts of everyone at GTG, from reception and catering to facilities and housekeeping, who worked together to support the Games. Thank you to everyone involved.
