GTG Training is launching our own Kickstart Scheme to help young people get into work. After a challenging year, we want to help empower young adults with the skills and experience they need to improve their chances of finding long-term work.
All three of our centres – Glasgow, Edinburgh and Wolverhampton – are offering several Business Support Assistant roles. This six-month programme is for anyone between the ages of 16 and 24 who is claiming Universal Credit. No skills or experience are required – we will provide you with all the training you need for the role, such as:
- Training in systems such as Administrate, FIPS, Maytas and Kerridge.
- Customer service training
- Communication skills.
- CV writing and job search.
- Interview techniques
- Time management
- First aid and fire warden training
We will also ensure that you receive all the support you need to succeed in your role as a Business Support Assistant and get your career up and running. Within each department, you will have a relevant mentor to ensure you have the opportunity to develop as individuals and learn new skills and knowledge.
